What Do You Know, A Running Game Works

Bears 36, Panthers 10

Well, the Bears won—as they should—especially when you're playing the shittiest team in the league. It was a solid victory, but let's not throw a parade just yet.

Now, I know some of you were holding your breath before this one. It's the Bears, after all. But today, we finally saw what a functioning offense looks like—thanks to the running game. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: The running game is football's version of the jab in boxing. Caleb Williams and DJ Moore connected for some big plays, and it's no coincidence that D’Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson were pounding the rock all day, moving the chains like clockwork. As much as we love Caleb's flashy arm, that ground-and-pound attack keeps him clean and the defense honest. It opens everything up. Just look at Caleb today—efficient and intelligent.

The defense? Chef's kiss. They came out with fire—sacks, turnovers, pressure from all sides. They didn't just beat the Panthers; they buried them. The intensity was high from the opening kickoff to the final whistle.

But here's the thing—don't eat the cheese just yet. We've got the Jaguars up next; trust me, they're not going to be a cakewalk. They've been picking up some momentum with a close win on Sunday, and we'll be across the pond in London, where the Jags playoff lives are literally on the line. If the Bears sleepwalk through that one, it'll be a rude awakening because after the Jags? That schedule looks brutal.

The next few weeks are going to be a serious gut check. The Cardinals are playing desperately. The Commanders have Jayden Daniels—who, by the way, looks like the second coming of Randall Cunningham. Seriously, watch the film—they play like twins. You can see the Cunningham swagger in how Daniels moves and throws. And to all those "experts" who said Daniels wouldn't make it because he's got a "slight" frame. (I'm still laughing) He's out here proving everyone wrong.

I mean, I liked Daniels and Michael Penix Jr. coming out of the draft. Either one of these guys was my pick. Caleb's looking good, no doubt, but Daniels? Absolute game-changer. So, here we are—entering the meat grinder of the schedule. I know everyone's riding high after today, but we've got the Jaguars, then the NFC trifecta of doom in November: Green Bay, Minnesota, and Detroit on Thanksgiving Day.

I'll say this: We'll find out what this team is really made of. Eberlose and our "genius" GM have some proving to do. The next few weeks will show if this team can hang with the big dogs. So far, Eberlose has only beaten one elite team in his illustrious 13-26 career. That's not going to cut it.

But hey, today? Today was a fun one. Watching the Bears dominate—it felt good. Let's hope we're saying the same thing next week. We might be in for something special if they can keep this momentum going.

For now, I'm cautious. Let's enjoy the win, but remember—this isn't the time to get comfortable. The real tests are coming…

As of Today, the Chicago Bears are valued at approximately $6.4 billion.

We're waiting…
